This is an excellent example of a split pair fossil fish. It is a fine Knightia eocaena from Wyoming. Fossils This specimen has wonderful form and excellent detail - the bones, fins, and tail display beautifully. The fish has beautiful, dark color and is nicely showcased on the large plate of shale. But, best of all, this fish is a split pair, and both halves are offered together! This is a fantastic example of a part/counterpart Knightia from the Fossil Lake deposits.
