This is a beautiful specimen of Priscacara serrata from the Eocene of Wyoming. The fossil fish has natural orange color and contrasts beautifully with the cream-colored matrix. The fish has great bone structure and excellent fin detail, especially on the large dorsal fin. The fish is well centered and wonderfully displayed on the large plate of matrix. This is a very complete example of this classic fossil fish from the Green River Formation.
