This is a very displayable fish fossil. It is a plate of three fish from the Cretaceous Cenomanian Layers of Lebanon. Due to political unrest, fossil from this area are getting harder to obtain. This plate has three fossil fish preserved of two different types! On the top of the plate is a beautiful Diplomystus poweri. This fish has a very exotic look to it. Under the Diplomystus are two excellent Teleostei fish. These fish are long and thin, compared to the Diplomystus. All three fish are well preserved and display beautifully on the unbroken, squared plate of sublithographic limestone. This is a very distinct multiple plate of fossil fish from the ''Age of the Dinosaurs''.
