This is a very collectible fish fossil. It is a large plate of Armigatus brevissimus from the Cretaceous Cenomanian Layers of Lebanon. Due to political unrest, fossil from this area are becoming harder to obtain. This plate not only has ELEVEN fossil fish preserved, but all of them are complete! All eleven fish are well preserved and have great color and contrast. The fossils display beautifully on the large, unbroken plate of sublithographic limestone that also contains a Mantis Shrimp and two complete fish on the back side! This is a very unique multiple plate of fossil fish from the ''Age of the Dinosaurs''.
